CEM Hall Cluj

Cluj Innovation Park will have an applied innovation hub, and we are proud to be part of this project aimed at building a Centre of Excellence for Furniture (CEM). The research hall is made of reinforced concrete floor slabs, under prefabricated pillars, which unload on the ground via piles. The structural system adopted is a metal beam with lattice girders discharging onto the precast reinforced concrete columns.

The role of the hall in the process of construction is to host future material development and R&D projects, as well as for prototyping, testing and preparation for production launch of products resulting from R&D activities.

According to the beneficiaries of the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, the CEM is intended to develop its own value-added products and services for the entire value chain within an infrastructure that is in the process of being built.
